RIOT OF THE DAY /// ANTHONY LISTER MAKES VIDEO FOR FAIT ACCOMPLI’S COVER OF M.I.A CLASSIC ‘BORN FREE’

LISTER
Revered Aussie artist and dead set legend ANTHONY LISTER directed the BORN FREE video for Sydney soul punks FAIT ACCOMPLI. CHECK IT OUT BELOW!

Here’s what the band had to say about the making of the video.

When recording was complete, we discussed a whole range of video ideas. But after listening to Born Free on repeat, the random thought of getting the talented artist Anthony Lister to direct our video was all of a sudden becoming an apparent reality (in our heads).

Ray who is friends with Lister built up the courage to ask if he would be keen on making a music video. And as luck would have it, Lister said yes.

After going back and forth over several ideas, in the end Lister decided to take the reigns and make the video by himself. Naturally we were all curious, excited and a little nervous, but mostly we were excited.

A few days later in pure Lister style, he emailed us a download link and disappeared overseas.

Yew!

VIDEO PREMIERE WORLD EXCLUSIVE /// BONEZ – REMEMBER MY NAME

bonez 1
One of the bright new lights on the Sydney scene right now are BONEZ. These guys have already been smashing a whole lotta touring in their short existence and so far things are coming up Milhouse for this funky soul raging four piece. Their live set is proving to be one of pure joy and excitement, a positive style that goes against the usual onstage stance which seems to be popular in Sydney at the moment, BONEZ are pretty much doing things their own way.

Determined to not do things in halves, BONEZ go all out for their shows with a goal to make sure their audience leaves the gig sweaty, satisfied and as fans. So naturally we are stoked to be premiering the brand new video for their debut single REMEMBER MY NAME.

Be sure to get out there and support this band who just SOLD OUT their debut ep launch at Vanguard a few weeks back. This is most definitely just the beginning for BONEZ.

ENJOY!
