Sydney three-piece NO ART have been a MSR favourite for a while now and we’ve enjoyed watching their progress.
A recent tour to New Zealand was definitely a great way to kick off 2012 and it’s good to know that the kiwis have been exposed to this epic band, we imagine their music going well with the wide open spaces of New Zealand.
SNAKY LOOKING is a beautiful epic slow burner (yes it goes for 21 minutes), press play and check out the images plus tour diary they sent us (also below) while on tour. If you take the time to listen we guarantee that you will become a fan. If we’re right then you must return the favour and invite us over for a joint.
Love NO ART, an amazing band and three very cool human beings. Their music will make you feel optimistic and warm on the inside, the complete opposite of a world without art.
Keep an eye out for their debut EP – coming soon.

No Art’s visit to NZ was a whirlwind, to say the least. We played with so many incredible bands and Camp A Low Hum was another universe. A few moments we captured along the way:
With Bare Grillz at the Lucha Lounge, Auckland. We’re only hours into this joint tour but all signs point to yes.
The boys deck themselves out in No Art paraphernalia in the tour van.
Bare Grillz at the Arc Theatre, Whanganui.
Rest days at Cactus Jack’s in Rotarua.
Soaking up the sights and sulphuric atmosphere.

The lagoon stage.
Vivian prepares for stage.
Day three of Camp in the aptly named noisy room. This show got a little bit wild, one lad was hanging from the rafters and I discovered that straight from a plastic bottle really is the best way to drink gin. Photo by Nick Carson.
One last shot with tour van, Kevin, before we head home.
