THE BROODING DESIRES OF SENZA SOLE

“If you like music that seizes your hand and leads you through a fairy forest to collect rainbow smiles then you’ve come to the wrong place.”

As per their self-proclaimed bio, it is with much pleasure that I introduce you to SENZA SOLE.

SENZA SOLE’s music is a concoction of dark, lilting, and atmospheric sounds that teeters on a dangerous precipice. It is challenging, and emotionally powerful music, with a style I’ve not encountered elsewhere in the Sydney scene. Throw around genres of alternative rock and post-punk, and consider their influences ranging from Cocteau Twins, Television and Radiohead, and then think a little bit of early Bloc Party, and you’ve got SENZA SOLE.

Frantic rollicking drums, brooding bass, evocative soaring guitars and poignant melodic vocals.

Be sure to check out their tracks online and be sure to see them next time they hit the stage!
